I have loved creating small, simple and charming sculptures like this; they allow me to concentrate on form, proportion, expression and visual harmony rather than getting lost in unnecessary complexity.
For me, Cute Buddha is a quiet exercise in simplicity,the rounded forms, gentle smile and meditative expression taught me that even a minimal sculpt can carry warmth, personality and tranquillity.
I enjoy these little explorations immensely; every simple sculpture becomes another opportunity to learn, experiment and understand my own visual language a little better.
