One of my very old Digital Sculptures, revisited with the eyes and experience I have gained over the years. I wanted to preserve the original character and thought, while refining the anatomy, skin, surface language, expression and overall realism.
I am always drawn towards faces that carry history, suffering, resilience and an unexplained psychological presence; the imperfections and excessive surface detailing are intentional, because I enjoy making a digital character feel almost tactile and alive.
For me, revisiting an old sculpture is like having a conversation with my younger self ,I can see where my artistic thinking has evolved, yet I still want to retain the instinct and emotion that existed in the original work.
This piece reflects my natural sculpting approach: pushing anatomy beyond conventional realism, studying human character through imperfections, and using detail not merely as decoration, but as a language for personality and emotion.
