Lupita Nyong’o - Digital Sculpture by Surajit Sen

Today, I accidentally came across one of my 11-year-old works ,a digital sculpture of one of my favourite actresses, Lupita Nyong’o.
I did a little work on it, but deliberately kept it mostly as it was when I created it back then. There are quite a few issues in the face that I can see now, but I decided not to overwork it. I wanted to preserve that old feeling and keep a little bit of the nostalgia intact. :)
I only added a few subtle facial features and some light depth to bring it back to life.
It feels really special to revisit this piece after 11 years. Looking at it again brought back so many memories of those days and reminded me of how I used to approach digital sculpting back then.
Happy to share it again and even happier to relive those memories.
