“Chota Pandit” - Digital Sculpture by Surajit Sen

I approached Chota Pandit as an exercise in caricature, character psychology, and controlled exaggeration, translating the eccentric spirit of Bhool Bhulaiyaa into a stylised digital sculpture with a deliberately theatrical presence.
My intent was to balance comic absurdity with sculptural credibility,the exaggerated physiognomy, expressive eyes, flamboyant moustache, beads, costume folds, and mischievous posture all serve to amplify the character’s eccentric personality.
For me, digital sculpting is never merely about reproducing a likeness; I enjoy observing, exaggerating and refining forms until anatomy begins to communicate personality, emotion and a distinct psychological identity.
