The Wooden Dreamer - Digital Sculpture by Surajit Sen
Created with one big mug of coffee , a little curiosity, and a lot of imagination. Nowadays, whenever I see an abandoned piece of wood, I can somehow imagine a character within it,sometimes I can almost see someone with curly hair hiding in its natural form. I tried to capture that same instinct in this sculpture, allowing the wood grain, cracks and imperfections to guide my imagination.
For me, “The Wooden Dreamer” is about seeing life where others might simply see a discarded piece of wood, transforming an ordinary, forgotten form into a character through observation, imagination and sculptural expression.
