Friendship, to me, is not the absence of rivalry but the quiet endurance of trust beneath perpetual mischief. This sculpture reimagines Tom & Jerry as weathered relics, suggesting that even the fiercest contests may ultimately mature into enduring companionship. I am drawn to narratives where humour conceals emotional depth, allowing fractured textures and time-worn surfaces to speak of resilience, memory, and shared history. My work is less concerned with perfection than with revealing the dignity of imperfection, where character, emotion, and craftsmanship converge into a single enduring form.
Friendship is not the absence of conflict it is the bond that survives every chase, every laugh, and every challenge. My interpretation of Tom & Jerry celebrates a friendship that time can never diminish.
