Mahakaali - Digital Sculpture by Surajit Sen

Updated version one of my Digital Sculpture - Mahakaali
Here I tried to create the form of Goddess Kali, inspired from the ancient Indian relics. I like the hidden art in damaged idols and try to sculpt it digitally.
Kali: Goddess of life, death and transcendence’. She is also the Tantric deity who wears a necklace of skulls and belt of human hands. With a lolling tongue, and brandishing a knife dripping with blood, Kali embodies shakti - feminine energy, creativity and fertility. She is considered as the most furious Goddess in Hinduism.
