A study of movement, power and restraint, but, for me, this sculpture also tells a story.
I imagine the horse as a traveller moving relentlessly forward, carrying its own momentum through the uncertainties of life. The waves beneath it represent the obstacles, turbulence and changing circumstances along the journey, while the flowing mane becomes the wind pushing it onwards. The clouds and sweeping arcs suggest a world that is constantly changing, yet the horse continues towards whatever lies beyond the frame. There is no visible destination, because perhaps the journey itself is the destination.
I wanted to transform the horse beyond anatomical representation and make it part of a larger visual rhythm. For me, it becomes a metaphor for ambition, persistence, freedom and the instinct to keep moving forward.
This is how I often approach digital sculpting. I do not want to create only a technically accurate form; I want the form to carry an idea, an emotion or a story. I begin with something recognisable and then try to push it towards something more symbolic and personal.
For me, digital sculpting is not only about creating a technically accurate form. It is about finding a way to turn thought into shape and shape into a story.
