The Weight of Time - Digital Sculpture by Surajit Sen

I sculpt not merely to reproduce the human face, but to excavate its history every furrow, fracture and imperfection becoming a record of time, endurance and lived experience.
In this digital clay study, I deliberately embrace raw surfaces, broken planes and tactile irregularity; my instinct is to let form emerge through observation, intuition and an almost physical dialogue with the clay.
For me, sculpting is an introspective discipline, an attempt to give tangible form to the human condition, where imperfection is not a flaw, but the very substance of character.
This direction is consistent with the language you have used in your recent sculptural work: tactile realism, deliberate imperfection, introspection and allowing intuition to work alongside anatomical observation.
